Our lodge is located on Pikes Peak in beautiful New Brunswick, Canada. Surrounded by several miles of a vast forest region and overlooking the picturesque Saint John River Valley, it is only 32 miles from the Canada/US border at Houlton Maine, and 5 miles from the lumbering town of Nackawic.
To reach the lodge by vehicle, from the USA, follow the Maine I-95 north to the Houlton border crossing. Then take NB 95 into Woodstock, turn left and go through town approximately 2 miles until you see a bridge on the right. Cross the bridge and continue straight and you will be on Rte 585. Take Rte 595 to Temperance Vale. Turn right on Pike Hill Road to Zara Road, and continue until you see our sign.
If you arrive by commercial air, we recommend landing at Presque Isle or Bangor Maine, where you can rent a vehicle for the remainder of your trip. Private planes can land at Houlton Regional Airport.

The Benoit Brothers whitetail hunting school will not be held this year.
We may be holding this event next year so keep checking back for news.
To obtain the dates you wish to hunt, we strongly suggest that you make your reservations early. To book, we require a $400.00 US non-refundable deposit for each person 16 years of age or older. The balance is due upon arrival and may be paid in cash, certified or travelers cheques. Personal cheques are accepted as deposits only and should be made payable to "Northway Outfitters."
Please Note: While deposits are non-refundable, they can be used as a credit on a future hunt within 12 months of the cancellation date. To book, call, write or e-mail us stating number in your party and requested dates.
• Hunters must be at least 16 years old to hunt deer, bear and moose in New Brunswick and must provide proof
of having previously hunted in New Brunswick or having taken a safety hunter course.
• Due to liability concerns hunters requiring tree stands should bring their own or be prepared to sign a liability
waiver.
• Hand guns are not allowed in Canada.
• Fall hunters must wear vests and caps consisting of at least 400 square inches orange.
• New Brunswick does not allow hunting or discharging firearms on Sunday.
• Hunters must still register their firearms with US customs and also Canadian customs before entering Canada.
• We enforce a zero tolerance on consuming alcholic beverages before or while hunting.
• One weeks hunting is from Sunday PM to Saturday 10 AM.
• N.B. provincial law requires all firearms be cased while being transported or carried outside of hunting hours.
• Your personal gear should include a flashlight, warm clothing such as wool jacket and pants, waterproof boots, compass and good quality wet weather gear. If you own a GPS unit, bring it along.
